The Jorgensen's ruined Christmas this year!:( That's right Josh and Emily started getting sick the Sunday before Christmas. I thought they were all over it so Thursday we went to my Mom's and helped her and Katie make cookies. We spent Christmas Eve at my Mom's and had a great time. Josh and Emily got new pajamas. Josh was especially excited with his new jammies ofcourse Emily could care less. Well Christmas day I get a call from my Mom that she is sick and so is Katie. I felt horrible. Tara and her family were suppossed to come. We were going to have Chris's birthday party that night (katie's husband) because his bday is on Christmas day. But all was cancelled because of us well really because of Emily:
I know she looks harmless but turns out she was still getting rid of the virus!!! And well who can resist kissing those cheeks! Maybe they will think twice next time but I doubt it!
Even though we didn't get to spend time with my family like we were suppossed to we did have fun spending the day with our little family just the four us! Josh was especially fun this year. He came in my room at 1:10am to tell me there were 3 dinosaurs under the Christmas tree. I pulled him into bed with me and JJ and told him we would check it out in the morning! He was so cute and so excited over everything. He played from the time he got up till it was time for bed! It makes it nice to know the money you spent was worth it when it keeps them busy for that long! Emily ofcourse loved the paper and everything Josh got she wanted to play with to. So although it didn't go as planned it was a GREAT Christmas being together! Here are a few pictures of our Christmas Day:

Love this post! Your kids are adorable! I agree completely on the day being awesome even though we weren't all together. Being with your little kids and husband all day on Christmas is actually pretty dreamy! I'm thinking maybe it should be like this every year...it is nice to be with family and the kids were disappointed about not seeing everyone but I heard Zack say it was the best Christmas EVER and watching your kids just play all day, relaxing, and just BEING together as a family is quite dreamy. So thanks goes to Emily for a fun day for us!!! Just sad for mom and Katie that they got sick that would totally bite being sick on Christmas! OOPS!
oh, she is getting so big. Looks like your Christmas was great. You and J.J. have such cute kids. I want to squeeze them both.... Miss you guys karen
