OK so we had a girls scrapbooking weekend this past week. And my sister in-law shared this story with us! Her friends family went to Disneyland as a big group. When they were done with a ride they were walking off and they noticed their 4 year old niece wasn't with them. They immediately went to security where they rushed the whole group into a room full of TV's. These TV's show the park all over so you can imagine how many TV's. They told them the first 15 minutes are the most crucial. They told everyone of the family members to just study all the TV's. So they were all searching the TV's to spot this little girl. One of them spotted her. She was walking hand in hand smiling with a strange man right before the exit! Security caught the guy right before he was ready to step out of this Park with this innocent little girl! He had already cut her hair and put a baseball cap on her. The only way they identified her was her clothes. If he had changed her clothes they would have lost her forever!!! I will never look as Disneyland the same. I cried when she told me this story I can't even imagine what this Mom must have felt seeing her little girl with some strange man leaving! The security guard told the family they did the right thing they said never start searching yourself just go right to security. Just had to share this. I know there are alot of Disneyland fans out there. I am a huge one and we are actually going in November. Needless to say Josh will be on one of those kid harness things!

How horrible!!!! That story freaked me out!! I think I get a little too relaxed living in a small town....bad things happen everywhere! We just have to be more aware of what's happening around us! Thanks for the big reminder!

I am so glad you shared that story. Because my boys run off all the time and sometimes I just try to find them myself because I feel stupid going to security telling them I lost a kid. But I will never do that again. Really amazing that they found her in time.
That makes me sick to my stomach!!! So scary!! What a nightmare for them!!!
That story makes me just sick! It makes me want to hug my kids and keep them a little closer! I think it will help all of us be more aware of what is around us! Thanks for sharing.
