JJ and I had our first canning experience last Thursday. My mom's ward had the canner. So she signed up to have it. It was pretty nice just being able to do it at her house. Total we canned 210 cans. People that canned were: My Mom & Dad, De & Janae, and JJ & I. Josh ofcourse had to be right in on the action and see just what was going on. He was such a good helper! So finally we have some food storage.

So cool! I haven't ever gone to the cannery either. I wish they would let us take it home, I might actually do it too!

That makes it so convenient. I have been to the cannery, but then you need a babysitter. If I had access to one in my own home i would be all over that.
It is nice to have a little peace of mind with extra food.
Ok, Who do you know that lets you take the cannery home with you. How fun is that. What fun you all had!!!! Karen
Food storage is addicting! Once you see it on your shelves it makes you want more and more! Good Job! Canning would be much better doing it with good company!
